What the service does, what you do with it, and who answers for what.

The service
PlanÉvénement is operated by Groupe Bien-aimé, the same enterprise as PlanMariage.ca. It runs an event: a public page, invitations, replies, reminders, a seating plan, a budget, a timeline and a checklist. Creating an account means accepting what follows.
Your account
- An account belongs to one person. You are responsible for what happens from yours.
- You must be 14 or older to open one.
- Your password stays yours. We never see it and cannot remind you of it, only let you choose a new one.
- Write to us if you think somebody else has access to your account.
The guest list is yours
When you enter guests, you are handing us information about other people. You confirm you have a legitimate reason to hold it and to entrust it to us. You answer for the contents of your list, your invitations and your messages.
On our side, it is used for nothing but running your event. No marketing, no analytics, no model training, no resale.
What you may not do
- Send unsolicited messages to people who never asked you for anything. This is a tool for inviting, not for prospecting.
- Upload content that is illegal, hateful, or not yours.
- Try to reach another account’s data, probe the protections, or automate requests at volume.
- Resell access to the service or present it as your own.
An account used for any of those is suspended, and we tell you why.
Your content stays yours
The text, images and lists you put into the service remain yours. You grant us only the right to host and display them in order to run your event. That right ends when you delete the content or close your account.
Price and payment
Your event’s public page, your guest list and your guests' replies are free, with no cap on numbers and no end date. So is the automatic deletion of your guest data after the event: that is a legal obligation we owe your guests, not a paid option.
The rest, meaning the five layouts, the timeline, the budget, the checklist, exporting your list and removing our name from the bottom of your page, costs $49 once, for that one event. There is no subscription, nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel.
Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card number: the payment page is theirs and we only receive a confirmation. Applicable taxes are added at payment.
The service is in early access and spots are granted one at a time. People accepted during this period run their event without paying and keep their page afterwards. An event created during early access is not turned into a paid one after the fact, and that rule is enforced by the product itself rather than promised here.
Availability
The service is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. We ship updates, something breaks now and then, and we fix it. Nothing announced as coming is promised for a particular date.
Liability
Our liability is limited to what the law allows to be limited. In Québec, the Consumer Protection Act frames those limits and some clauses cannot be held against you. Nothing here reduces the rights that Act gives you.
Closing your account
You can close your account whenever you want. Your events and lists are then deleted on the timelines set out in the privacy policy. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and we tell you when we do.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law applicable in Québec. The French version prevails.
